Eclipse the Cat needs a home
Meet Eclipse! Born in July this pretty little girl has come a long long way since the day she came into our lives. On a hot August day found nearly dead on the side of the road covered in maggots and bare flesh exposed on her legs. Little Eclipse had been clinging to life waiting for someone to help her. While we may never know what happened to have caused her tiny body so much damage we know she has an amazing spirit and a playful personality. In most instances kittens in her condition would never have survived but our team along with our veterinarian team worked tirelessly to give this little girl a shot at living. After all of the maggots were removed from her body the long process of sugar wrapping her legs began.. Twice a day for 3 months we covered her legs in sugar and wrapped them up tight like little casts. During this process her skin slowly began to regrow itself until finally one day only a tiny scar remains. So now after fixing her legs its time to fix her next problem....she needs a home! A home where she is as special to them as this little girl has been to us.
